Blast cleaning (sandblasting, grit-blasting) consists of bombarding the surface of a material with one of many types of sand, grit or shot.

We specialise in sandblasting brick, stonework, timber and metal. Sandblasting is a method often used to remove paint and rust, and can also be used to smooth imperfections on various surfaces. Sandblasting is also a chemical-free removal and finishing technique. Most projects call for the use of 100% recycled glass, which is non-hazardous, non-toxic and completely inert.
